1. About these Terms

1.1 These Website Terms govern use of www.talk4.co.uk, My Talk4 and related Talk4 web applications operated by Talk4 Communications Ltd trading as Talk4 Telecoms.

1.2 Using the site does not by itself create a telecoms service contract. Product purchases are governed by the ordering flow, Contract Information/Contract Summary where applicable, General Terms and product-specific terms.

2. Access to the website and My Talk4

2.1 You may use public pages for lawful personal/business purposes. Registered account features are available only to authorised users and may require identity/authentication checks.

2.2 We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, suspected fraud/abuse or legal requirements.

3. Account security

3.1 Keep usernames, passwords, one-time codes and recovery details confidential. Do not share credentials with unauthorised persons. Tell us promptly if you suspect compromise.

3.2 You must not attempt to access another person’s account or bypass authentication/technical controls.

4. Information and product availability

4.1 We aim to keep website information accurate, but coverage, speed, stock, prices, promotions and product availability may change. The information displayed in your Contract Summary/Order at the point of contract is the authoritative contractual information for that order, subject to mandatory law.

4.2 Coverage maps, availability checks and estimated speeds are estimates unless expressly stated as guaranteed contractual commitments.

5. Orders and contracts

5.1 An online basket or application is not accepted until the ordering process states that a Contract has been formed. We may need technical, identity, credit or fraud checks before acceptance.

5.2 We will not rely on a pre-ticked checkbox as contract consent where affirmative consent is required. For regulated contracts, required pre-contract documents must be made available before final consent.

6. Acceptable website use

• Do not use the site unlawfully or fraudulently.
• Do not introduce malware or deliberately disrupt the site.
• Do not scrape, crawl or automate access in a way that materially burdens the service or circumvents access controls, except where permitted by law or written agreement.
• Do not attempt unauthorised access to systems, APIs, accounts or data.
• Do not submit false, misleading or abusive information.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 Talk4 and its licensors own intellectual property in the website, branding, text, software, graphics and databases except where stated otherwise. You may view/use content for ordinary lawful use but may not commercially reproduce or exploit it without permission.

8. Links and third-party content

8.1 Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Unless stated otherwise, Talk4 does not control or endorse their content, availability or privacy practices.

9. Security

9.1 We use reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee that the internet or any website will be free from vulnerabilities or interruption. Do not rely on the site as your sole emergency communications method.

10. Availability and changes

10.1 We may update, suspend or withdraw website features. This does not by itself change an existing telecoms contract; contractual changes must follow the applicable contract and regulatory rules.

11. Liability

11.1 Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. For consumers, statutory rights remain unaffected.

11.2 To the extent permitted by law, Talk4 is not responsible for losses caused solely by third-party sites, unsupported customer devices/software, or events outside reasonable control. Business users should refer to the Business General Terms for applicable business loss/liability provisions.

12. Privacy and cookies

12.1 Our Privacy Notice and Cookies & Online Tracking Notice explain how we process personal information and use storage/access technologies.

13. Accessibility

13.1 We aim to make Talk4 online services accessible and provide alternative communication formats/support as described in the Accessibility & Vulnerable Customers Policy.
